On January 15, 2025, the Global Pan African Movement, North America Delegation, held an internal education session on Haiti, entitled Haiti: Then and Now. The session was led by Bertin M. Louis, Jr., who laid out the centrality of Haiti to Pan Africanism, and the historical precedents that continue to destabilize the country and undermine Haitians.
